Overview

Compass Oncology, a leading cancer care provider in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking an experienced Nurse to join our team as a Registered Triage Nurse. This role is a critical part of our cancer care continuum, where you will play a vital role in guiding patients, answering clinical questions, and gathering information for our physicians to ensure timely and effective care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs over the telephone, collaborating with physicians and qualified staff to meet those needs.
  • Accurately identify patients with high-risk conditions and direct care to the appropriate resources.
  • Provide professional nursing care for patients, adhering to national and organizational standards and guidelines for specialty care and scope of practice.
  • Recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care and participate in company-wide quality initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • Current RN state license with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Current or pending Oncology or applicable specialty certification preferred.
