Medical Oncology Triage Nurse

Compass Oncology, a leading cancer care provider in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking an experienced Nurse to join our team as a Registered Triage Nurse. This role is a critical part of our cancer care continuum, where you will play a vital role in guiding patients, answering clinical questions, and gathering information for our physicians to ensure timely and effective care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs over the telephone, collaborating with physicians and qualified staff to meet those needs.
- Accurately identify patients with high-risk conditions and direct care to the appropriate resources.
- Provide professional nursing care for patients, adhering to national and organizational standards and guidelines for specialty care and scope of practice.
- Recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care and participate in company-wide quality initiatives.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Current RN state license with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current or pending Oncology or applicable specialty certification preferred.

We also offer a competitive salary range of $66.73 per hour, with final offer amounts determined by a review of the candidate's applicable experience and qualifications.
