Position Details

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and managing infrastructure solutions through automation.
  • Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Working with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Programming in Python and scripting with PowerShell and Bash.
  • Managing virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and VirtualBox.
  • Monitoring system performance with tools like DataDog and Splunk.
  • Administering databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Handling storage solutions including S3, NFS, CiFS, and LVM.
  • Ensuring effective system administration for both Enterprise Linux and Windows Server.
  • Collaborating with IT on networking fundamentals.
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with development methodologies such as SCRUM.
  • Experience with OS imaging tools and programming languages like Java, Golang, Angular, and NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of design patterns for Kubernetes and alternative container tools.
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools.
