Mackie Consultants, LLC, a leading consultant in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying, is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing design and analysis for civil engineering projects using approved computer programs and manual computations in accordance with accepted design practice. Your expertise will be utilized to work independently on design and production of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. You will also prepare design calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates, and work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Additionally, you will attend project meetings both internally and with clients, and assist with project administrative activities, document controls, and project scheduling. To be successful in this role, you will need a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of civil design experience. A PE license is preferred, and you will need to have working knowledge and experience with state and regional regulations. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, and knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
