Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the safe and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with plant management to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance records and procedures.
- Manage and train maintenance team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Communicate with operations and quality teams to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
- Partner with site leadership to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong safety background, including knowledge of 6S, LOTO, and RCA.
- Working knowledge of boilers, refrigeration, PLCs, electrical, cooling towers, ammonia compressors, and packaging equipment.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety.
- Experience maintaining budgets and working with vendors.
- Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
