Position Overview

As a Disaster Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in restoring homes and businesses back to their pre-loss condition. You will be part of a dedicated team that responds to emergency situations, assesses damage, and implements effective restoration solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Safely execute assigned restoration projects according to established company procedures while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Perform water damage repair tasks, including water extraction, content removal and storage, disposal of non-salvageable materials, cleaning of reusable items, light construction, and demolition as directed by your supervisor.
  • Participate in our on-call rotation, responding to after-hours and weekend emergency situations.
  • Monitor and manage assigned water damage projects for residential and/or commercial clients with a sense of urgency.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and photographs according to company policies and procedures to ensure accurate insurance claims processing.
Job Requirements
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills. Prior experience in the restoration or construction industry is not required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • The ability to understand and safely follow product label instructions.
  • The capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A commitment to maintaining a drug-free, alcohol-free, and tobacco-free work environment.
Certifications (Preferred)
  • Water Damage Restoration Technician (WTR)
  • Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
