Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paint Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for inspecting and finishing metal surfaces to ensure they are clean and free of surface irregularities before painting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect metal surfaces to detect defects such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal
  • Grind parts and/or components to acceptable surface profiles
  • Apply adhesives, caulk, and bondo to metal surfaces as needed
  • Smooth surfaces of parts to a specified finish
  • Polish metal surfaces to a high shine
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
