Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Kent, King County. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and lead groups.
  • Assist the Program Manager in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with CDMHP's, inpatient facilities, and ensure proper protocols are followed for hospitalization authorization and during discharge planning.
  • Provide clinical supervision to other clinicians who are pursuing the Licensing requirements.
  • Support the agency efforts to ensure compliance with WACs, RCWs, and clinical contracts.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work with coursework in psychological diagnostics.
  • Four or more years of clinical experience in the field.
  • Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
  • Hold and maintain an active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License.

  • Competitive hourly rate of $28.68 (MH Therapist II) - $32.26 (MH Therapist III) or salary rate of $73, Licensed MH Therapist.
