Position Overview:
Sutter Health is looking for a qualified Audiologist Level II to join our dedicated team. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with hearing, balance, and related conditions. The Audiologist will also manage tasks associated with hearing aid dispensing and cater to a specific patient demographic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Utilize clinical expertise to implement care strategies based on patient diagnoses.
- Foster trust and collaboration with patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues through effective communication and attentive care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies to maintain patient privacy and safety.
- Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides, and mentor students as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited audiology program.
Licensure:
AUDIO - Licensed Audiologist
BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
Skills:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal and conflict resolution capabilities.
Work Schedule:
Days - Per Diem/Casual, Monday to Friday, with variable hours.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $60.11 to $75.14, based on experience and qualifications.
