As a Parole Agent II with the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, you will play a critical role in ensuring public safety and supporting the rehabilitation of offenders. This position involves working with individuals who have been released from prison and are on parole, providing guidance and support to help them reintegrate into society.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular visits with parolees to monitor their progress and provide guidance and support.
- Investigate allegations of parole violations and take appropriate action to ensure public safety.
- Collaborate with other agencies and community organizations to provide support services to parolees.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to help parolees achieve their rehabilitation goals.
This position is based in Oakland, CA, and requires regular travel to various locations throughout the state.
Special Requirements:Applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and possess a valid driver's license. A bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant work experience are also required.
