Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Operations at Spinato's Pizzeria is responsible for maintaining a professional image and demeanor, as this is a customer-facing role. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously, provide exceptional guest service, and motivate and inspire staff to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Front of House and Back of House employee schedules, ensuring seamless operations and efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with candidates to assess their skills and fit for the role.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all staff members, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.

Staff Management:

  • Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance, provide feedback, and set goals.
  • Oversee the performance of all staff members, providing coaching and support as needed.

Operations and Logistics:

  • Manage the ordering and receiving process, ensuring timely delivery of supplies and materials.
  • Open and close the restaurant as scheduled, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
  • Complete payroll and inventory tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular VCD (Visual Customer Demand) and DSR (Daily Sales Report) analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee employee performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Act as a leader and role model for all staff members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Lead the restaurant staff during service periods, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain high standards of cleaning and sanitation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage alcohol sales and inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee cash management and financial responsibilities, including comps and voids.

Office Organization and Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including employee files and inventory reports.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Fulfill all accounting and financial responsibilities, including reconciliations and reports.
