We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family of businesses. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and process blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory procedures and technologies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- National certification or registration as a Phlebotomist is preferred.
- 1+ years of phlebotomy experience is a plus.
