Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler I 2nd Shift to join our team at FLAVOR & FRAGRANCE. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient transfer of materials from stock-on-hand to production and/or shipping as saleable goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and Packing: Prepare materials for manufacturing and customer orders for shipment.
  • Receiving and Inventory Management: Receive goods into the manufacturing and warehouse sites, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Purchase Order Management: Enter purchase orders and manage inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Material Sampling and Storage: Sample and store incoming freight, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize inventory in manufacturing and off-site warehouses to ensure efficient access and retrieval of materials.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload delivery trucks, and ensure safe and efficient transportation of materials.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and 2 years of warehouse experience.
  • Skills and Certifications: Valid driver's license, fork truck certification, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is moderate.
