Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our team at The Jonus Group. As a key member of our commercial lines team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of middle market accounts, providing expert advice and guidance to clients, and driving business growth through strategic relationships and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of middle market accounts, providing expert advice and guidance to clients on insurance products and coverages.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors to drive business growth and optimize relationships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client's business.
  • Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
  • Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
  • Process endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
  • Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working with middle market accounts in an agency environment.
  • Ability to meet with clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to delegate workflow and multitask.
  • Strong math and technical skills.
