We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Services Director to lead our Social Services Department in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and service, while also promoting a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the overall operation of the Social Services Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
- Assess residents' social service needs and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs and goals.
- Coordinate referrals and services to ensure timely and effective support for residents.
- Participate in and lead on-the-job training, in-service education, and orientation programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Make written and oral reports to the Administrator, providing recommendations and updates on department operations and resident care.
- 2-3 years of related experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in social work or a related field.
- Social work license/certification, if required by state law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
