Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Cleveland Clinic Martin Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a CVICU RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring, and implementing patient care plans in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- ONS Chemo/Bio course completion within one year of employment, if employed on units where chemotherapy is administered.
- ACLS certification, if employed in an Adult/Combined ED.
- PALS certification, if employed in an ED.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification, if employed in a Dedicated Trauma Center.
- Vascular Access Registered Nurse (VARN) program attendance and certification, if employed in a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) area.
