Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
  • Act as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
  • Ensure team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner
  • Provide promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager
  • Manage light food preparation responsibilities
  • Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments, and concerns

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • ServeSafe certification within the first 60 days of hire
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
  • Night and weekend availability is required based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high-volume atmosphere

Compensation

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.75 and paying up to $22.25, based on experience and qualifications.
