Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform business needs into processes and applications that promote efficient and consistent execution.
  • Facilitate support and collaboration for process enhancements, solutions, and procedural modifications.
  • Assist in the development of existing modules, including annual enrollment and data feeds to external, sensitive technology systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local Government regulations regarding sensitive information protection and the implementation of information security processes.
  • Provide expert assistance for all application and technology-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues with software vendors. Analyze current systems and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Work alongside various program departments on software project implementations; ensure integration into the organization’s system meets functional requirements and compliance standards.
  • Act as an application administrator for multiple business-related applications utilized by HR and Finance, managing user security, conducting regular security audits, and configuring applications in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Research, disseminate, and educate users on best practices for application or module usage, including updates and enhancements. Develop and maintain technical and user documentation while adhering to change management policies.
  • Deliver accurate and timely service management and customer service activities, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Independently monitor and document work order requests, providing technical user training solutions.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and reporting to support internal and external audits as required.
  • Maintain and support data integrity protocols across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT. Monitor process workflows and conduct audits to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Generate accurate program-related data reports for program staff and auditors as requested and approved by leadership.
  • Create and maintain various reporting queries using software reporting tools, data visualization, and Excel. Deliver reporting and analytics solutions tailored to meet internal customer needs.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis, resolve discrepancies, and perform regular audits for program-related reporting to assist in maintaining data integrity.
  • Prepare periodic and monthly reports for relevant departments.
  • Conduct monthly user account audits for senior management and implement necessary corrections.
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of existing software applications or modules every few years, developing strategies for improvement.
  • Evaluate and interpret specifications and business/user data and reporting requirements.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train new and existing users on new processes and functionalities.
  • Utilize project management processes for all application upgrades while strictly adhering to established procedures.
  • Stay informed about current trends in technology systems, focusing on supporting product changes and service development.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policy and legal requirements.
  • Participate in departmental, agency, and professional meetings and workgroups as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday application and user account administration, with a background in business or data analysis.
  • Experience with Financial Data Management (FDM) is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, web conferencing, application technologies, and data visualization tools.
  • Basic understanding of relational database design and structures.
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret specifications and business/user data and reporting needs.
