Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Automotive Sales Representative is to sell vehicles, achieve profit targets, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Upholding a professional demeanor is essential at all times.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess customer vehicle preferences through effective inquiry and attentive listening.
- Present vehicles, including facilitating test drives.
- Introduce clients to Service departments and relevant staff.
- Deliver vehicles to clients, explaining features, warranties, and maintenance schedules to foster loyalty.
- Implement a follow-up strategy to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Stay informed about new products and features to better assist clients.
- Regularly discuss objectives and activities with the Sales Manager.
- Maintain knowledge of automotive terminology, technological advancements, and communicate effectively with customers.
- Promptly report any vehicle issues to the Sales Manager.
- Comply with regulations governing retail automotive sales.
- Participate in all training initiatives.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Perform any other assigned tasks.
Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
No previous experience necessary.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capacity to meet sales targets, proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications, valid driver's and sales licenses.
