Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Concentra. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine medical procedures and testing under the supervision of a treating clinician.
  • Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing required testing.
  • Triage and dispositions all patients, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain and operate medical devices and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and record-keeping.
  • Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices, as well as testing processes used in the center.
  • Manage patient flow and volume, keeping patients informed of expected wait times.
  • Perform clerical tasks in both the front and back office, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited school or Military Medical Specialist with current Medical Assistant credentials.
  • Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific).
  • Previous medical office experience preferred.

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $20.88 to $27.14 hourly, depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law.
