Role Significance
This position is integral to our "Pivot to Growth" strategy, focusing on business development as a cornerstone for both immediate and future expansion within the Innovative Medicines sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to identify and evaluate business development prospects, including product acquisitions and strategic partnerships, particularly in the fields of neuroscience and immunology.
- Lead due diligence initiatives by aggregating data and coordinating interdisciplinary teams.
- Develop and sustain intricate financial models to appraise potential acquisition targets and in-licensing opportunities.
- Assist in identifying prospective business development targets through external evaluations, participation in industry events, and leveraging specialized databases.
- Prepare detailed materials such as presentations and reports to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline is required.
- A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in finance, investment banking, or strategic consultancy, with a strong emphasis on financial modeling and valuations.
- Exceptional analytical and presentation skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
