Job Title: Associate Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Counsel to join our leasing division at DOWC. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in executing corporate legal strategy and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and develop corporate legal strategy to drive business growth.
  • Lead internal investigations and provide expert advice on contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Develop and implement best practices for team efficiency and innovation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues and external counsel on litigation strategy and cost savings.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal developments and contribute to corporate governance and transactional matters.
Requirements:
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted and in good standing with the NJ and NY bar.
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate law, either in a law firm or in-house.
  • Strong critical thinking, research, writing, and organization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
