Senior Environmental Scientist/Technical Manager/Geologist

Property Solutions Inc. is a leading environmental consulting firm seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist/Technical Manager/Geologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including due diligence, subsurface investigations, and remediation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scopes of work for subsurface investigations, UST closures, and remediation projects;
- Procure and oversee subcontractors, including drillers, geophysical consultants, and remediation contractors;
- Coordinate and manage tasks associated with field activities and report preparation;
- Collect environmental samples and train junior staff on proper sampling techniques;
- Document field activities, including field notes, boring logs, and chain of custody;
- Interpret analytical data and subsurface conditions;
- Mentor junior staff and review reports prepared by them;
- Prepare technical reports for clients and regulatory agencies;
- Ensure work is completed within budget and in accordance with client and regulatory timing.

Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- 7+ years of experience working on projects in New Jersey, with expertise in NJDEP regulations and technical requirements;
- 5+ years of experience preparing reports and forms for submittal to NJDEP;
- 7+ years of experience logging soils and overseeing well installation;
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour refresher.

- Ability and desire to travel to job sites across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and occasionally throughout the US;
