Environmental Scientist/Industrial Hygienist Opportunity

TRC Companies, a leading environmental consulting firm, is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Industrial Hygienist to join our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene (BSI) Practice in the Reston, VA/Washington DC area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support due diligence tasks, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments
  • Conduct site inspections and interviews to identify environmental conditions requiring further investigation
  • Assist with reports and scopes for environmental due diligence assessments
  • Maintain regular communication with existing client base
  • Provide technical support to all TRC practices as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, biology, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in building sciences and industrial hygiene, with a strong emphasis on commercial and industrial sectors
  • Preferred qualifications include certifications such as AHERA, USEPA Lead Inspector/Assessor, and ACAC Certified Microbial Consultant
