Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at UBTA-UBET Communications, Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining Strata TV and high-speed broadband services to residential and business customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain cable connections from tap to customer equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and education on installed equipment.
  • Identify and prepare cables for active service.
  • Transfer services from one cable or technology to another.
  • Diagnose and repair trouble in various types of cable using testing equipment.
  • Work with customers to install, test, and troubleshoot wiring, modems, routers, and customer devices.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Two-year degree in a telecom-related field or 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work varying shifts and hours, including on-call and weekends.
