**Job Description**
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menu items and specials that meet customer demands and exceed expectations.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Manage inventory control, product flow, and rotation to ensure quality and freshness.
• Provide effective ordering and purchasing to meet business needs, while controlling food costs and adhering to budgetary guidelines.
• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff, including daily presentation and explanation of specials.
• Ensure total quality and quantity control for all products received in the outlet.
• Provide consistent follow-up on all aspects of operational functions, including customer service and staff performance.
• Act as liaison between front and back of the house operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Supervise, evaluate, and train staff, providing coaching and discipline as needed.
• Adhere to and administer established Food and Beverage Policies, Labor Laws, Liquor Laws, and Delaware Sanitary Codes.
• Assist in establishing standards and procedures for ensuring proper sanitation and excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests, promoting positive relations and resolving guest complaints and inquiries.
• Maintain professionalism at all times, adhering to company standards and expectations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
• Four (4) years of culinary experience, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment facility.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains confidentiality with regards to employee concerns and sensitive department information.
• Maintains established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Experience with P.O.S System and PC-related systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
