Position Overview

As a Biomedical Engineer (Clinical Specialist), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products within the healthcare environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • On-Site Consulting: Provide expert guidance and support to medical professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal use of IGS technology.
  • Technical Analysis: Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues through thorough analysis and engineering expertise.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for hospital staff, including physicians and OR personnel, on the effective use of IGS products.
  • Customer Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, assessing satisfaction levels and identifying opportunities for product upgrades and additional sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing and R&D, to enhance product offerings and market presence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize your engineering background to recommend modifications that improve product quality and performance.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role within the healthcare sector.
  • Sales experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC software applications.
  • A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach with a proven ability to make independent decisions.
