Job Overview

As the Senior Onboarding & Provider Specialist at Sollis Health, you will act as a key resource for all aspects of new employee onboarding, provider credentialing, and ongoing provider oversight across various Sollis locations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to all relevant company policies as well as State and Federal regulations, while maintaining precision and thoroughness in all processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding Process

  • Deliver exceptional service to facilitate the onboarding of new hires across corporate, administrative, and clinical roles, ensuring completion of all necessary documentation in our onboarding and HRIS systems.
  • Initiate and oversee the background verification process for all incoming staff.
  • Gather and process I-9 documentation and submit to E-Verify.
  • Collect health clearance documents from employees and collaborate with regional medical teams for necessary approvals.
  • Evaluate existing onboarding and credentialing procedures to identify opportunities for enhancement.

Credentialing Duties

  • Oversee the credentialing process for all providers, including verification of educational background, training, and primary source verification.
  • Conduct queries with the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) and other relevant databases to gather provider information and malpractice history.
  • Collaborate with Regional Medical Directors to ensure skills credentialing verification during onboarding and our internal processes post-hire.
  • Ensure that ACP Practice and Collaborative Agreements are processed correctly and that all state requirements are fulfilled for new hires and renewals.
  • Maintain an ongoing monitoring system and database for provider licenses, certifications, and renewal dates, proactively reaching out to staff for updated documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations related to credentialing risk management.
  • Assist with any provider or credentialing projects or initiatives as needed.

Licensing Responsibilities

  • Work with vendors and/or state or professional boards to secure new licenses or certifications for providers and manage renewal submissions as required.

Collaborative Efforts

  • Support the launch and maintenance of CME training course offerings in Sollis' Learning Management System in partnership with the broader People Ops team.
  • Track CME & Professional Development reimbursements for providers and assist with policy improvements.
  • Act as a point of contact for providers with any general inquiries throughout their tenure at Sollis.
  • Provide backup HRIS support to the HR Generalist as necessary.
  • Assist with general People team projects as required.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in credentialing is required.
  • Certification as a Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare standards, regulations, and medical credentialing procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position in New York City. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, industry background, and education.
