Role Summary:
The Georgia Orthopaedic Society is seeking a qualified BC/BE Adult Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physiatrist to become part of our well-established and successful practice.

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct PM&R consultations for patients with intricate rehabilitation requirements or those who may qualify for inpatient rehabilitation programs.
- Participate in a week of inpatient rehabilitation call coverage every sixth week.
- Manage 8-12 patients daily, providing expertise on spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, multiple traumas, neurogenic bowel/bladder issues, skin integrity, amputations, and other complex medical rehabilitation cases.
- Collaborate with various departments including Rehabilitation Psychology, Neuropsychology, adaptive driving programs, and community outreach initiatives for TBI, stroke, and SCI populations.
- Board certified/eligible at the time of employment.
- Licensed in the state of Georgia by the time of employment.
- Possess DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
- Two years of experience in high-risk OB practice is preferred.
