Job Title: Commercial Loan Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Processor to join our team at Insight Global. As a Commercial Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing and packaging of commercial loans and modifications for closings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the loan process from loan approval through closing, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and bank policies/procedures.
  • Input data into the loan system, performing loan document review and due diligence with third-party professionals.
  • Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to closing, ensuring loans are in compliance with credit approval, loan settlement statement, and audit procedures.
  • Order vendor work, including appraisals, floods, UCC, title searches, and title commitments through title companies.
  • Document loans in Laserpro and Wolters Kluwer, with a strong preference for experience with these loan processing software systems.
  • Perform loan maintenance, including renewals and modifications, and ensure proper booking of the loan.
  • Assist in maintaining overall system integrity related to commercial loan systems/software.
  • Contribute to the Underwriting Team's objectives by answering questions, performing efficient and accurate transactions, and informing operations and underwriting teams about related products and services.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience working with commercial loans.
  • Minimum 2 years as a loan closer or loan processor.
  • Familiarity with loan documentation and experience with various credit structures.
  • Self-sufficiency and ability to work independently.
  • Drive to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Laserpro or Wolters Kluwer (loan processing software) is highly preferred.
