Job Summary

As a Cafe Manager at Compass Group Careers, you will be a part of a dynamic and complex food service operation. This is an excellent opportunity to launch a successful career in hospitality. The position requires Sunday through Thursday availability from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational excellence of our cafe.
  • Hire, supervise, and train associates.
  • Plan, market, and execute special events/promotions in the cafe.
  • Ensure compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards.
  • Operate within the budget and identify new ways to improve the business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, and/or related food service operations.
  • Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
