In today's digital landscape, safeguarding information and data is paramount for organizational success. As a Lead Consultant specializing in Azure Security Compliance, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on their security needs, ensuring that their business requirements are met with tailored security solutions.

Your Responsibilities
The Azure Security Compliance Lead will collaborate with a diverse team of infrastructure, security, and application professionals during the transition of on-premises and cloud applications to Azure environments. Your expertise will be essential in:
  • Configuring, operating, and maintaining Azure-native security tools.
  • Supporting security assessments and the authorization process, including ATO documentation.
  • Conducting security audits and managing Azure security tools for monitoring and reporting.

Required Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Over 10 years of experience in leading FISMA/NIST RMF implementation and management.
  • Extensive experience in drafting and maintaining ATO documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Deep understanding of FedRAMP controls and the Customer Responsibility Matrix (CRM) for Azure Government.
  • Proven track record in responding to FISMA security audits and providing necessary artifacts.
  • Experience with hardening guidelines such as CIS benchmarks and DISA STIGs.
  • Strong collaboration skills across various teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in securing and documenting enterprise cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Federal Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) applications.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM, with a preference for Azure Security Certification.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, particularly in delivering compliance briefings to leadership.
  • Eligibility for a Public Trust Background Investigation.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications
Additional experience in:
  • Executing security compliance in multi-cloud or DevSecOps environments.
  • Coordinating across security, IT operations, audit, and development teams.
  • Holding security certifications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google.
