Position Overview:
Are you eager to leverage your technical expertise in a role that contributes to national security initiatives? As an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role in shaping the security landscape for critical space missions.
Your Role:
In this position, you will collaborate with a team to design and implement advanced cyber security solutions for Overhead Persistent Infrared Radar systems. Your responsibilities will include establishing, documenting, and overseeing various ground system enclaves ranging from Unclassified to Top Secret levels. You will also lead cyber accreditation efforts, manage authority to connect processes, and conduct security impact assessments.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Security or Cybersecurity.
- At least 1 year of experience in a role as an ISSO or ISSM providing information assurance or Cybersecurity support.
- Proven ability to interface effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including ISSM, SCA, or Program Managers.
- Familiarity with system security and authorization approval protocols.
- Understanding of NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, or Intelligence Community Directive 503 standards.
- Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or DoD 8140 are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in network, system administration, or computer operations support.
- Familiarity with tools such as Open RMF, Xacta, eMASS, ACAS, SteelCloud, ELK, and vulnerability databases like Tenable Nessus.
- Background in supporting cyber security programs within the intelligence community, Air Force, or Space Force.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization concepts.
- Understanding of computer networking principles, protocols, and security practices.
- Certifications such as CASP+, CISSP, or CISM are advantageous.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
