Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Rule4. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure systems, networks, and applications to protect our clients' data and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and explore emerging technologies to stay ahead of security threats
  • Analyze and improve infrastructure and application security, performance, and availability
  • Draft high-quality documentation on security reviews, incident findings, and vulnerability assessments
  • Develop and implement open-source tools to detect, prevent, and analyze security threats
  • Conduct periodic system and network vulnerability scans using tools like Nessus, Nmap, and Wireshark
  • Analyze application and infrastructure security using penetration testing
  • Investigate suspected security breaches and run forensic investigations
  • Perform incident response and disaster recovery, minimizing impact and restoring critical operations
  • Build relationships with clients and lead sales cycles, including proposal writing and closing deals
Requirements
  • Passion for technology and security
  • Ability to multitask and re-prioritize on the fly
  • Keen eye for detail and incremental improvements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-action environment
  • Hands-on experience with relevant technologies
  • Excellent consulting, communicating, and relationship-building skills
  • 2 or 4-year college degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
