We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our parts department as a Counterperson for our Automotive Parts Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have prior experience working in an automotive parts department and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.


Responsibilities:
  • Order, receive, and bill all parts
  • Maintain proper storage of parts
  • Stock shelves and assist retail customers and technicians
  • Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping
  • Pick-up and delivery of parts
  • Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean
  • Maintain a superior level of customer service

Requirements:
  • Must be a customer-oriented, self-motivated team player
  • One to two years of prior automotive parts experience required
  • Must be computer literate
  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings and Saturdays
  • Must have a valid driver's license and few to no points on driving record
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, standing for a long period of time, bending, stooping, reaching

Salary and Benefits:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, plus commission based on sales performance, medical, dental, 401K, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement.
