  • Merchandise Management: Oversee truck deliveries and prioritize the timely processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to Associates on established merchandising and processing practices.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, secured, and organized for easy access.
  • Communication: Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure a smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Task Management: Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as necessary to meet store objectives.
  • Back Stock Organization: Maintain and rotate back stock for efficient replenishment.
  • Merchandising Standards: Uphold the company's merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Backroom Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and organization in the backroom area.
  • Compliance: Adhere to recycling and hazardous waste programs where applicable.
  • Effective Communication: Provide accurate updates to management and Associates regarding priorities and progress.
  • Feedback Culture: Engage in giving and receiving recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Partner with management to identify training needs for Associates to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promoting Programs: Advocate for credit and loyalty programs.
  • Shrink Reduction: Support initiatives aimed at reducing store shrinkage.
  • Safety Awareness: Promote a safe working environment for all Associates.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team-oriented, collaborating effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Experience in training others.
  • A minimum of 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Compensation:
This position offers a starting pay range of $15.15 to $15.65 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
