Job Title: Memory Subsystem Verification Engineer

At Apple, we're committed to innovation and excellence in every aspect of our products and services. As a Memory Subsystem Verification Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our memory subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement verification environments for memory subsystems, including simulation and emulation.
  • Design and develop synthesizable transactors and test benches to verify memory subsystem functionality.
  • Collaborate with CPU, SOC, and GPU RTL design teams to develop verification strategies and ensure system-level considerations.
  • Develop unit-level stimulus and full-chip assembly programs to verify memory subsystem functionality.
  • Work closely with the verification team to develop coverage monitors and achieve coverage goals.
  • Debug failures in pre- and post-silicon environments, root-cause problems, and propose design changes to address issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Verilog, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with digital logic design, CPU and SOC architecture/micro-architecture, and memory subsystems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with emulation and developing synthesizable transactors.
  • Strong knowledge of formal verification, emulation/FPGA technology, and industry-standard tools and languages.
