Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological evaluations, performing specialized tests, and creating treatment plans for patients while taking full responsibility for the complete patient journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive, diagnostic hearing evaluations for primarily adult patients.
  • Hearing Aid Fitting and Dispensing: Fit and dispense hearing aids and recommend proper assistive devices according to patient needs.
  • Specialized Testing: Perform specialized tests, including Real Ear Measurement and Speech mapping.
  • Device Fitting and Dispensing: Fit and dispense traditional and extended wear (Lyric) hearing devices.
  • Tinnitus Evaluation and Treatment: Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment and rehabilitation for tinnitus patients.

Requirements

  • Education and Certification: Masters or Doctorate in Audiology, OR HIS or BC-HIS.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Patient Management: Ability to prioritize and handle a full schedule of patients.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently.
