Job Summary

Staffing Proxy is seeking a skilled Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide comprehensive audiological services to patients in New York and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic hearing evaluations for adult patients, utilizing advanced testing methods to identify hearing impairments.
  • Fit and dispense hearing aids, recommending assistive devices tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Perform Real Ear Measurement and Speech mapping to ensure accurate hearing aid fitting.
  • Fit and dispense traditional and extended wear hearing devices, including Lyric devices.
  • Conduct Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) diagnostic assessments.
  • Provide treatment and rehabilitation for tinnitus patients.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate in Audiology, or equivalent certification in Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) or Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist (BC-HIS).
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and manage a full patient schedule.
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent time management and adaptability.
