Job Title: Prep and Recovery Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Prep and Recovery Registered Nurse to join our team at Bronson Healthcare. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the recovery room, monitoring their vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless transitions between the operating room and recovery areas.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the anesthesiologist or surgeon.
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
