We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Technician to provide critical support for the Joint National Warfare Center (JNWC). The selected candidate will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VTC systems within a secure environment, ensuring reliable and secure communication channels for mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support for day-to-day operations at the JNWC
- Schedule classified and unclassified Internet Protocol (IP) video teleconferences for CONUS and OCONUS meetings
- Ensure and troubleshoot interoperability of VTC bridges and endpoints
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the utilization of conference center equipment
- Identify and execute process improvements to improve operational efficiency
- Inventory management of end-user devices
- Create and manage user accounts
- Support other associated activities, tasks, and projects in a diverse and fast-paced test, operations-focused environment
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, Information Technology, Communication, or a related field
- Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of VTC hardware, software, and network connections
- Prior experience working with classified/secured VTC systems
- Prior experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and endpoints
- Prior experience installing, configuring, and maintaining VTC endpoints
- Understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) Security Regulations, Policies, and Procedures
