About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. As an Oncology Infusion Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and coordination of the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications to patients with cancer
  • Monitor patients for side effects and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider (CBP) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in oncology nursing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in infusion therapy
