About the Role
At Dobbs Equipment, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Technology Business Development Specialist to drive our technology sales growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying technology opportunities with existing customers, prospecting new customers, and providing on-site expertise for demonstrations, deliveries, and technical support.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with local sales teams to identify technology opportunities with existing customers using our entire technology portfolio.
  • Prospect and cold call on new customers using our technology portfolio to increase our customer base and grow Deere machine opportunities.
  • Participate in all branch and regional sales and training meetings.
  • Attend all required training classes from our manufacturer partners.
  • Quote and negotiate prices, credit terms, prepare contracts and record and close orders.
  • Provide on-site expertise for demonstrations, deliveries, and technical support.
  • Record daily activity in CRM database and call log.
  • Report market awareness and at-risk customers to sales leadership.
