Lead Plumbing Engineer

CESO is seeking a highly skilled Lead Plumbing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all technical assignments are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects and programs from concept through completion, utilizing standard engineering design techniques for small to large projects.
  • Perform and ensure the production of drawings, design advanced building systems, specifications, calculations, and other analyses meet scope, timeline, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications.
  • Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects.
  • Apply local, state, and federal regulations, adapting engineering information, codes, and standards into project designs and staying current on industry codes and standards.
  • Communicate design requirements with architects, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to determine scope and feasibility.
  • Attend internal and external meetings and perform other project duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License is required.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, AEC industry, codes and standards.
  • Experience creating and maintaining engineering standards and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revu, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common software.
