The University of Miami Health System, known as "UHealth", is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst.

The Epic Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing and guiding Associate Epic Analysts within the team. This position collaborates with essential stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to enhance the application's configuration, functionality, and accessibility.

This role involves facilitating daily application support, addressing application-related issues, and serving as a primary contact for application end-users. The analyst is responsible for identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain the application.
  • Support all testing phases and document workflow design.
  • Analyze the impact of information technology on clinical work processes and validate workflow impacts.
  • Provide daily application support, assess and resolve service tickets, implement requested application modifications, and ensure timely data retrieval.
  • Collaborate with trainers on application updates and new features to create documentation and training strategies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support as needed.
  • Engage in relevant committee meetings and maintain regular communication with team members.
  • Review project statuses and issues continuously with leadership.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of UHealth's policies, procedures, and operational practices.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures while safeguarding University assets.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty or field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience.
  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
  • Ability to maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Proficient in recognizing, analyzing, and resolving various problems.
  • Capability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
  • Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Commitment to the University's core values.
  • Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
