Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will oversee all functions associated with retirement services and benefits, which generally encompass:

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of various retirement plans such as 401(k), 403(b), and 457, while remaining informed about pertinent regulations impacting the retirement sector.
  • Address participant inquiries through various communication channels regarding their retirement plans, including details about the plans, investment alternatives, contributions, distributions, and rollovers.
  • Support participants with account management, beneficiary modifications, and enrollment in plans. Ensure that all transactions adhere to plan stipulations and regulatory standards.
  • Provide participants with insights into plan features, advantages, and investment choices. Assist them in interpreting their statements and understanding the implications of their investment decisions.
  • Identify and resolve participant concerns promptly and efficiently. Escalate intricate cases to senior team members or supervisors when necessary.
  • Assist plan sponsors in managing their retirement plans, including tasks such as contribution calculations, non-standard trading, participant financial activities, and other intricate record-keeping responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance of retirement plans with all regulatory mandates, including IRS regulations, ERISA guidelines, and plan documentation.
  • Respond to participant inquiries regarding contribution limits, eligibility criteria, and resources for retirement planning.
  • Support investment management tasks, such as fund transfers, rebalancing, and executing investment modifications.
  • Engage with plan participants and other stakeholders to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide necessary updates.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and ensure high satisfaction levels with the services provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in retirement plan record-keeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of retirement plans, IRS regulations, and ERISA standards.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of Quality Lean/Process Improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire for continuous learning and strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Cultural sensitivity in a diverse and international workplace.
