Position Overview:

This role involves working at customer sites during standard business hours. You will be responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul of boiler systems and their components, ensuring that customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional service by repairing and overhauling equipment such as steam boilers, hot water heating boilers, high-efficiency boilers, water heaters, and sterilizers.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operational deficiencies to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Testing malfunctioning systems and components using both electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Supporting the department by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
  • Assisting with the delivery and installation of equipment.
  • Engaging in minor construction and remodeling projects, including the startup of new installations.
  • Performing additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial boiler systems.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Availability for emergency on-call duties.
  • The ability to work independently and remain seated or standing for extended periods.
