Job Summary

The Benefits Coordinator II is a key member of the Southwire Company LLC team, responsible for the daily administration and coordination of the company's health and welfare benefit programs. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and coordinate the company's health and welfare benefit programs, including leave policies and insurance programs.
  • Provide information and guidance to employees regarding benefits, handle enrollments, and update records.
  • Communicate with benefits carriers and vendors to ensure effective administration and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Partner with the HR and Benefits team to implement processes and improve benefits administration.
  • Document and revise benefits processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in benefits administration or a related field.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience with benefits administration software and systems.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate career interest in the field of human resources.
