About the Position

As a Consulting Leader at Persistent Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing our consulting practice. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key client relationships, and leading a team of high-performing consultants.

Your role will involve providing strategic direction, ensuring delivery excellence, and expanding our market presence through innovative consulting offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, product, and business leaders, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice Leadership: Lead the consulting practice, defining and executing strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market differentiation.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Business Development: Drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and leading negotiations.
  • Delivery Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of project delivery, managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects across geographies.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader within the industry, representing Persistent Consulting at conferences, in publications, and through other channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other leaders across Persistent Systems to align consulting initiatives with broader company goals.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the consulting practice, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in consulting, with a proven track record of leading and growing consulting practices.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Client Management: Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior-level client relationships, with a track record of delivering successful consulting engagements.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business development skills with a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that align with company goals.
  • Project Management: Extensive experience in managing large, complex projects, with a focus on quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
