Position Overview – Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will engage in high-level strategic initiatives that address intricate, sector-specific challenges, while enhancing your expertise in your chosen field. You will autonomously provide exceptional solutions and cultivate essential client partnerships.
Your role will involve collaboration with leading Fortune 500 Financial Institutions to conceptualize innovative products, outline domain frameworks and strategies, transform experiences and processes, capitalize on data, upgrade payment infrastructures, and spearhead innovation.
This position offers the chance to harness and expand your industry knowledge and connections to introduce groundbreaking ideas and valuable insights, establishing yourself as a thought leader within the sector. You will utilize your understanding of the market and industry trends to help shape the future of our consulting services and offerings.
Essential Qualifications
- Comprehensive experience in Enterprise architecture encompassing the payments value chain.
- Expertise in electronic payments (high value, low value, cross-border, RTP).
- Experience in end-to-end Card networks related enterprise architecture and solution architecture, including microservices and cloud migrations of payment solutions.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in management consulting or directly within Banks, Payment Service Providers, Payment Product Vendors, and FinTech.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- Experience in at least 2 to 5 complete cycles of consulting or technical advisory work across the full value chain or segments of the architecture in the banking and payments domain.
Desirable Qualifications
- 5-7 years of dedicated experience in the Payments sector.
- Development of Business Architecture and Blueprints for distinctive solutions in the Payments arena.
- Prior experience with leading Payment Hub products, Payment Processors, and Card Processors.
- Strong understanding of one or more payment schemes for High Value, Mass Payments, Immediate Payments, and P2P Payments.
- Familiarity with Design Thinking methodologies.
- TOGAF / MuleSoft certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in at least one complete cycle of architecture work across the full value chain or segments of the architecture.
- An MBA or any postgraduate qualification is preferred.
