We are seeking an experienced Architect with 6 to 9 years of expertise in Spark Optimization, AWS IAM, Big Data, AWS EC2, AWS EMR, Amazon S3, Apache Spark, and Python.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize big data solutions to drive business forward.
- Lead the design and implementation of big data solutions using Apache Spark and AWS services.
- Oversee the optimization of Spark jobs to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Manage and optimize data storage solutions using Amazon S3.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation tasks.
- Ensure data security and compliance within the Cards & Payments domain.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of big data applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and strategy of our big data platform.
- Demonstrate expertise in Big Data technologies and solutions.
- Show proficiency in Apache Spark and Python programming.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Ensure data security and compliance in all solutions.
This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
